network privacy and QQ circle.

What's privacy?Privacy is personal information which is nothing to do with common interest or group interest.Personal domain which party don't want others to know or interference.
simply speaking, privacy is unpublic private affairs。what's not privacy?the affairs which people would like to share with others, or related to common interest and group interest.

Now with the development of weibo,blog,zhihu.com.Users strive to be the first to show their talents, and think nothing of that this kind of share had done damage to their own benefit and intellectual property.
Rencently Tencent has release its new product-QQ circle. On one hand, many users like this product and say it help them find their old friend. On the other hand, many people say this product expose their privacy and boycott it.
Whether this product damaged users'privacy or not?let's think about these questions:
Is your name privacy? Is your nickname in your circle privacy?
Would you like to appear in the circle computed out by computer?
Can you hide yourself in the circle?Would you like to make your circle information public.Do you mind let your wife know the information of your ex-girlfriend?

QQ circle reflect the horrible technology of Tencent. What they will do is to let the users choose, whether make your privacy public.
even though, you have the right to choose. But you still be fear of this kind of technology.Hacking of QQ number is normal today. If somebody get your password, your information of QQ circle is very easy to get,for many people ,exporsure of this information is deadly.

SNA and case study about SNA

Brief introduction of SNA
Social network analysis [SNA] is the mapping and measuring of relationships and flows between people, groups, organizations, computers, URLs, and other connected information/knowledge entities. The nodes in the network are the people and groups while the links show relationships or flows between the nodes. SNA provides both a visual and a mathematical analysis of human relationships. Management consultants use this methodology with their business clients and call it Organizational Network Analysis[ONA]
To understand networks and their participants, we evaluate the location of actors in the network. Measuring the network location is finding the centrality of a node. These measures give us insight into the various roles and groupings in a network -- who are the connectors, mavens, leaders, bridges, isolates, where are the clusters and who is in them, who is in the core of the network, and who is on the periphery?
case study of SNA

(a) Describe the above social network according to your best knowledge.
(b) Within this social network, who is the most influential? (What SNA measurements you learned from the lectures can help you to solve this problem? Why you choose those measurements? Show the readers how you identify this person by computing the corresponding indexes.)
(c) Suppose you are conducting a research on the social network of these five students and the above results are obtained, discuss the findings and their implications based on your data.

From the above relation graph, we can see that besides Eva, the other four people are all closely connected.  For Eva, she only connects with David. we can see David has one of the best locations in the network -- He is between two important constituencies. He plays a 'broker' role in the network. Thus Eva does not belong to the 4 heavy connected social network.Without David, Eva would be cut off from information and knowledge in the four people network.
I choose the  Between Centrality to explain why David is the most influential one in the network. Between Centrality is expounded in the lecture as "Between Centrality is a measure of the potential for control as an actor who is high in “betweenness” is able to act as a gatekeeper controlling the flow of resources (information, money, power, e.g.) between the alters that he or she connects"A node with high betweenness has great influence over what flows -- and does not -- in the network. David may control the outcomes in a network. That is why they say, "As in Real Estate, the golden rule of networks is: Location, Location, Location
we consider the five persons can be represented by a matrix. And the degree centrality can be easily got as (L=6,g=5),the density of the network is 2L/g(g-1) = 0.6

Alice

We use the formula below to calculate the betweenness.

It can be normalized as C’B(ni) = CB(ni)/[(g-1)(g-2)/2]
we have
Betweenness centrality
Alice
0.14
Bob
0
Carol
0
David
0.58
Eva
0

Therefore, from the calculation, David has the largest value in Betweenness Centrality.

The outcome reflect that David is the most influential in the network and Alice is the second one.
If Bob and Carol want to connect to Eva ,they must go though Alice and David. For david,The good news is that he plays a powerful role in the network, the bad news is that he is a single point of failure.

Ralation between microwave maketing and hot events

The rapid development of the Chinese microblogging started from 2010, the concept of microblogging, which this year has been an unprecedented spread over, the major portals also have opened microblogging channel, Sina, Tencent and so on, the microblogging trend of rapid growth leading the development of Internet services in China.By fierce competition this year, the 2011 Chinese microblogging is still more popular service, but the overall growth rate decreased, there was even a certain decline, indicating that the microblogging service after 2012 the rapid development of industry has begun to gradually enter the stationary phase.
A very interesting phenomenon is these portals rely on different ways to stand out  in this competition. The Tencent rely on their client with no doubt, and it gathered popularity very fast. And sina weibo gathered a lot of celebrity and producing hot topics every seconds,so that is well-matched with tencent.what interesting is that in Jan,2012,with the coming of spring festival of china, the rate of microblog all went down, but sina'weibo is much taller than Tencent. This may because of the hot event of Fang Zhouzi and Hanhan.(http://topic.t.sina.com.cn/book/fzzhh/index.shtml)
this hot event is a success case of online marketing, sina has successfully led  the war from blog to microblog-weibo,and made it be talked by people over a month
and gathered popularity at the meantime and create value.
门户微博
From this case we can see that in a success online marketing, how to atrract the eye of users and how to produce topics is very important. The user is the most important part in social networking. How to lead the power of users is a key of online social marketing.

Blog environment&Occupying Obama's google+

I've learn a lot form the lecture of Blogosphere and, Information Sharing, and Cases for Social Marketing.I've written blog since the appearance of blog in China.Up to now, several years have past.I've seen the popularity of blog and be taken place by weibo what we call microblog little by little.Nowadays blog in China  has become the exclusive items of the elite class.Just small number of celebrity and part of intellectual insist updating their blog. The reason is weibo is more convenient for the fans or supporter to know their idol.and the other is the content of the blogs is controlled by government and things about especially politics are killed.due to the illiberality of mainland, many people give up their blog and turn to microblog, even though the weibo is controlled too,but control force is lighter than the blog.

For these two days, with the GFW lift a ban to Google+,the page of Obama was occupied by Chinese immediately.Every news of Obama was circuseed by Chinese users
and up to 500 comments of every news have been occupied by Chinese.Obama and his team are very keen on social networking.Their online marketing and communications work is done very colorfully. In November last year, Obama opened his Google + real-name authentication account, interact with Internet users. When Google + can not be accessed from China, so not too many Chinese users there.Since the GFW lift a ban to Google+ the other day,Chinese users circusee and occupy the page of  Obama, and many people expressed their political opinions. This case has become a carnival of Chinese users. The circuseeing has become a tradition of Chinese internet users.

Network and Epistemic virtue

This is my first blog of social networking.Using this way to share experience and ideas interest me very well.
I've learnt the 6 key components of epistemic cognition from the third lecture.what left me deepest impression is the epistemic virtue and responsibility.
I've been using SNS like facebook and renren for years and often surfing the famous BBS of mainland like Tianya and Mop.Everyday users of this website discussing the hot news and controversies are often caused by different factions users. These controversies reflect the different ethics among internet users.Although vituperation often breaks out among part of the users(this is always happen on the internet all over the world not only in china),these websites play a positive role in promoting ethic and unearthing the truth.Disscussion of internet users supervises the ethic of the real world and guides people's behavior.User's publish their thoughts and opinions over blogs and Twitter(Weibo in China).Good values is easy to spread among people
